The Women Identity Purpose "Women to Watch" Award 2017

We value the contributions of Women in our Community!  In order to show our appreciation, we have implemented a new award to honor them.  Our 2017 awardees were given a special treat of a Proclamation fron the State of Tennessee and a beautiful award.

Our 2017 Winners - Dr. Audrey Elion, Angela Green and Sherila Jones-Tuggle

 Dr. Audrey Elion - Health/Well Being

Dr. Elion was selected for our award because of her variety of leadership roles revolving around improving the emotional and mental health of youth in her community.

Noteworthy Accomplishments

Bachelors of Art Degree in Psychology and Master of Science degree in Counseling and College Student Personnel - University of Memphis.

Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from thr Pennsylvania State University

Honored the Gilbert & Kathleed Wrenn Award for Humanitarian and Caring Person

Angela Green - Media/Entertainment

Angela Green's ability to successfully navigate and operate as an entreprenuer in the legal field for her entire career is commendable.


While she has practiced corporate and real estate law, her heart lies in the entertainment law sector.  This passion has led her to serve as the chairperson on the On Locarion Memphis Internationsl Film and Music Festival where she works to make an imprint on introducing new srtists to the ciy of Memphis.  


Angela also loves to give back to the youth in her community and demonstrates this through her nonprofit venture Ambassadors for Memphis; where she partners with other agencies to donate backpacks to over 500 youth each year.

Sherila Jones-Tuggle - Finance

Ms Jones-Tuggle is a managing partner and audit manager at Jones and Tuggle, PLLC Certified Accountants. She is not only a progressive individual, but a wise one who saved her company over $800,000 through continuous workflow improvements and the implementation of reinsurance contracts.  

Ms. Jones-Tuggle was not only selected for her stellar accounting skills but because of her passion to improve her community.   She is a reflection of a woman living to make a difference in her community. 

Noteworthy Accomplishments:

Graduate of the University of Memphis and Central Michigan University.

Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

    • A history of designing and implementing effective solution
    • Sustained record of accomplishments and contributions to the field
    • Service as mentor to colleagues and/or served our community
    • Advocate for empowering women
